About the RoleA leading national technology infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced
Low Voltage Project Manager to support one of the largest mission-critical structured cabling projects in New York. This position plays a pivotal role in a high-visibility initiative tied to major advancements in U.S. technology and manufacturing.

What You'll DoProject Leadership & Team Management- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate project staff.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support career development.
- Manage workload distribution, scheduling, and field productivity.
- Ensure adherence to company culture, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Project Execution & Delivery- Oversee all phases of structured cabling and low-voltage installation.
- Coordinate scheduling, materials planning, and subcontractor work.
- Manage customer communication and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Participate in bid processes and support pre-construction efforts.
Financial & Administrative Management- Maintain budget control and project profitability.
- Validate job cost postings, prepare invoices, and support collections.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders and clients.
Quality, Safety & Process Improvement- Maintain a safe, compliant, and high-quality work environment.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and best-practice improvements.
Hands-On Field Support- Assist in the field as needed to ensure project success.
- Use low-voltage trade tools including:
- 110/66 punch tools
- Crimp tools
- Butt sets
- Volt-ohm meters
- Continuity testers
- Krone/BIX tools
QualificationsRequired- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred).
- 5+ years experience with security systems, access control, or CCTV.
- 5+ years supervisory or management experience.
- 5+ years in telecommunications, structured cabling, or construction.
- Experience managing customer relationships and high-volume workloads.
- Ability to read blueprints, specs, and technical construction documents.
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Teams & Outlook
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Must meet company driving standards.
- Must qualify for a company-sponsored credit card.
Preferred Technical BackgroundExperience with any of the following manufacturers is a plus:
- Bosch G Series, Ready Key Pro, Bosch Video
- UTC/GE Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV
- DSX
- Software House
- EST 2 / EST 3
- VideoIQ
- Fluid Mesh

Compensation- Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 (DOE)

100% on-site Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed based on project demands. This is a high-impact, fast-paced environment suitable for candidates motivated by large, complex projects and the opportunity to contribute to critical national technology initiatives.
