Business Process Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Business Process Analyst to support a Contract engagement in Savannah, Georgia. This role will concentrate on documenting and analyzing current workflows. The position requires an on-site work during normal business hours.

Responsibilities:

Review and document business workflows tied to a broad portfolio of applications used across the organization.

Observe employees in person as they carry out daily tasks to capture real-world process steps, handoffs, and pain points.

Prioritize analysis efforts around the most urgent operational concerns identified by department stakeholders.

Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation that reflect current-state operations.

Analyze data movement and information handoffs between applications to identify dependencies and documentation gaps.

Partner with resources to gather insights, validate findings, and refine process documentation.

Organize and maintain project artifacts in a structured document storage approach to support accessibility and version control

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in business analysis within complex operational environments.
Strong ability to develop process maps and clearly document end-to-end workflows.
Hands-on experience with process documentation and translating observations into formal business artifacts.
Familiarity with data mapping and identifying relationships between systems, processes, and information flows.
Ability to work on site and engage directly with staff to understand how work is performed in practice.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with multiple application stakeholders and validating process details.
Proficiency in maintaining organized documentation and supporting structured document storage practices.
