Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support the development and implementation of Thermal Energy Networks (TENs) initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing complex projects, coordinating stakeholders, supporting strategic planning efforts, and developing technical and public-facing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in energy, sustainability, engineering, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support planning, implementation, and tracking of Thermal Energy Networks (TENs) initiatives.
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and risk management activities.
  • Develop project plans, business cases, implementation strategies, and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement with government agencies, utilities, consultants, industry partners, and community organizations.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation of energy-related programs, policies, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and public-facing communications.
  • Support meetings, workshops, and stakeholder events, including agenda development, facilitation, and follow-up actions.
  • Review and edit technical documents, research reports, and program materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and strategic objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
  • 3–6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience developing project implementation strategies and managing project timelines.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience preparing technical reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Asana
  • Salesforce (preferred)
  • Other  project management and collaboration tools
