Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead /Business Analyst to guide the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across enterprise programs. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical leadership skills, hands-on Salesforce development experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.
The Salesforce Technical Lead will oversee solution architecture, mentor development teams, ensure platform best practices, and support ongoing enhancements in a large-scale environment. Experience with Salesforce Field Service Management (FSM), people leadership, and working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the technical design of Salesforce solutions, including Service Cloud and Field Service Management (FSM), ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
- Drive end-to-end architecture for Salesforce applications, integrations, data models, and security.
- Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and system governance.
Development & Implementation
- Oversee and participate in the development of Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, flows, and APIs.
- Manage and review technical deliverables from internal and third-party developers.
- Support complex platform customizations and automation, including FSM-specific workflows and configurations.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Present technical recommendations and solution approaches to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
People Leadership
- Mentor and guide Salesforce developers and administrators, providing coaching, code reviews, and technical oversight.
- Support team development, remove roadblocks, and promote high-quality delivery standards.
Quality, Governance & Maintenance
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to secure development practices.
- Maintain and enforce Salesforce environment strategy, including sandbox usage and release management.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical support for enhancements and ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms in a technical capacity.
- 3+ years serving as a Technical Lead, Architect, or Senior Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Management (FSM).
- Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP integrations, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, flows, and security model.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps).
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, Field Service Certification).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
- Background in Contact Center, Case Management, or Public Sector solutions.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration tools.
- Additional experience supporting Agile transformations or leading Agile teams.
