WorkDay Functional Analyst I - Core HCM

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Remote)

Role Overview

The WorkDay Functional Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, testing, validation, training, and support of the Workday application and other assigned applications. This role involves maintaining system configuration, deploying feature releases, and identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain system configuration by evaluating and implementing modifications and enhancements to support process workflows.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of functional workflows and the application's versatility.
  • Drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance to ensure functional requirements are met.
  • Identify system optimization and enhancements and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Investigate complex issues, using independent analysis to generate and present solution options.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and execute effective communications and training for application users.
  • Assist in developing educational tools for new applications and system updates.
  • Work collaboratively in workgroups and across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.
  • Support applications and projects, which may require after-hours or weekend availability.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills:
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
  • Capacity to complete required application training and learn new technologies.
  • Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical ability to solve both business and technical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday experience or training is preferred.
