About Cornami:
Cornami, Inc. is a Silicon Valley-based semiconductor company pioneering real-time intelligent computing for the most demanding workloads of our era. Our breakthrough FracTLcore Compute Fabric scales from thousands to millions of cores, delivering unprecedented performance-per-watt for AI, blockchain, and privacy-preserving machine learning (PPML) applications.
At the core of our mission is Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) enabling computation directly on encrypted data, so sensitive information never needs to be exposed. We serve highly regulated industries including banking and financial services, healthcare and life sciences, government and defense, and pharmaceuticals. With over 70 patents issued and a growing portfolio of hardware and software innovations, Cornami is shaping the future of secure, quantum-proof computing.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team and help bring Cornami s innovative silicon and software products to market. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue between our engineering, product, and business teams ensuring that complex hardware/software development programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
You will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple concurrent workstreams across ASIC development, firmware, software stack integration, and customer-facing deployments. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of semiconductor or compute systems development, combined with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management
- Own end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution across systems and software development programs and TruStream programming model releases. Cross-functional alignment with Hardware initiatives, including FracTLcore silicon tape-outs, Mx Series server system development.
- Define and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans using industry-standard tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams including RTL design, verification, physical design, firmware, software, and QA.
- Drive structured design reviews, milestone reviews, and program status meetings with executive stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate closely with engineering leads in chip design, architecture, systems engineering, and software to align priorities and resolve blockers.
- Partner with the product and business development teams to ensure product roadmaps align with customer requirements in target verticals (BFSI, healthcare, government/defense).
Technical Oversight
- Contribute to technical architecture discussions and trade-off analyses, ensuring project decisions are grounded in engineering reality.
- Maintain deep familiarity with Cornami s technology stack including FHE compute pipelines, parallel processing architectures, and cryptographic workloads (ZKPs, blockchain, PPML).
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and deliver clear, executive-ready program status reports, risk registers, and escalation summaries.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including SOWs, PRDs, decision logs, and post-mortems.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all programs.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of technical project or program management experience in the semiconductor, hardware, or compute systems industry.
- Strong technical foundation in digital chip design, computer architecture, or embedded systems.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to distill technical complexity for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating with silicon foundries (TSMC, Samsung, GlobalFoundries) and managing tape-out schedules.
- Proven track record managing complex SoC or ASIC development programs through the full product lifecycle (concept through production).
- Experience with security or cryptographic computing systems, including FHE, ZKPs, or post-quantum cryptography.
- Background in high-performance computing (HPC), AI accelerators, or data center compute infrastructure.
- Familiarity with server system development (rack-scale, PCIe, or custom compute platforms).
- Experience supporting enterprise customer deployments in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government).
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
- Master s degree in Engineering or MBA is a plus.
