Job Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish retail IT equipment, including POS systems, computers, servers, printers, tablets, laptops, and handheld devices.
- Perform hardware repairs, maintenance, testing, and quality inspections to ensure equipment meets customer specifications.
- Process warranty claims and maintain accurate service, repair, and inventory records.
- Package, label, sort, and prepare equipment for shipment and delivery.
- Communicate repair status, inventory needs, and equipment issues to supervisors.
- Follow customer repair guidelines, company procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with warehouse operations and other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tech-savvy individual with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience repairing, diagnosing, or refurbishing computers, POS systems, printers, tablets, laptops, servers, or other electronic devices preferred.
- Ability to accurately document repairs, inventory transactions, and warranty information.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
