Summary

Senior Ivanti Operations & Controls Analyst

Location: Remote

Rate: $65-$70 per hour

Contract Term: 12 Months with possible extension

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ivanti Operations & Controls Analyst to support and optimize enterprise IT service management, operational governance, and technology controls within a regulated financial services environment.

This role requires deep hands-on experience with the Ivanti platform and will be responsible for administering, configuring, governing, and continuously improving Ivanti-based operational processes. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for Ivanti service management capabilities while ensuring operational controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements are effectively supported.

Candidates without significant Ivanti experience will not be considered.


Key Responsibilities

Ivanti Platform Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Ivanti platform.
  • Configure and maintain Ivanti Neurons and Ivanti Service Manager solutions.
  • Design, implement, and enhance workflows supporting IT operations and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain service catalogs, request fulfillment workflows, approval processes, and automation rules.
  • Manage platform upgrades, integrations, configurations, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
  • Create dashboards, reports, KPIs, and executive operational metrics.

IT Service Management (ITSM)

  • Administer Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Asset Management processes within Ivanti.
  • Ensure ITIL-aligned service management processes are effectively implemented and monitored.
  • Support Configuration Management Database (CMDB) governance and data integrity.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Application Support, and Service Desk teams to improve service delivery.

Controls, Governance & Compliance

  • Support technology operational controls through Ivanti workflows and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation supporting internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop reporting and evidence collection processes supporting governance and oversight activities.
  • Track remediation efforts, audit findings, operational risks, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure change management and operational controls are consistently enforced through Ivanti processes.

Operational Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Analyze service trends, incidents, root causes, and operational risks.
  • Produce management reporting for technology leadership, risk management, and audit stakeholders.
  • Recommend process improvements based on operational metrics and performance analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Ivanti administration and operational support experience.

  • Experience supporting enterprise IT operations within a large corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
  • Experience creating operational dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
  • Experience supporting SOX, FFIEC, OCC, FDIC, or other regulated environments.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
  • Experience with Endpoint Management and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM).
  • Experience integrating Ivanti with Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Service Desk tools, and monitoring platforms.
  • Experience supporting audit and risk management functions.
