Desktop Support Technician (On-Site)
Location: Columbia, SC
Type: 6-month contract (strong potential to convert)
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
We're seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on, on-site IT support at a large corporate facility in Columbia, SC. This role supports end users across all levels of the organization and plays a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop and PC support for Windows workstations, laptops, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Office 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, Wi-Fi)
• Perform hardware/software break-fix and device imaging
• Resolve and track issues using a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred)
• Support basic Active Directory tasks (user accounts, permissions)
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting SLAs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years desktop or PC support experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Experience with Windows desktop environments and ticketing tools
• Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
