Role: Infrastructure Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to advance the company s core technology environment. This role will lead the design, implementation, and support of cloud network infrastructure, employee productivity tools, and Okta SSO integrations, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient operations. The right candidate will balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership to drive innovation and reliability across our IT ecosystem. This role will focus on both technical design/implementation and influence business and engineering teams on solution identification.
Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable Cloud, Wi-Fi, and VPN solutions for a global workforce.
Okta SSO & Identity Management: Lead SSO integrations, lifecycle management, MFA enforcement, and security best practices using Okta.
Employee Productivity Applications: Oversee implementation and ongoing support of productivity and collaboration tools, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec to enforce security policies, manage endpoint protections, and maintain compliance with relevant standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
Automation & Monitoring: Develop scripts, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to IT staff, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Consistent delivery of process improvement and automation enhancements for IT systems with supporting documentation.
Extensive networking configuration and support experience: Cloud (esp. AWS), Cisco Meraki, SDWan, VPNs, and Terraform IaC.
Operational day-to-day administration of a variety of SaaS services: Okta, Slack, M365, Zoom, Atlassian.
Advanced knowledge of end point provisioning and configuration: Mac/Windows, MDM, Kandji, Automox.
General technology troubleshooting, and Helpdesk escalations (e.g. L3 support).
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
