Summary

Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Administrator / Developer to administer, support, develop, and maintain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The selected candidate will support enterprise integration services, API management, production operations, and the migration of legacy Oracle Service Bus (OSB) integrations to MuleSoft.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, API security, CI/CD, and Oracle OSB/SOA integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.

  • Ensure platform stability, availability, security, and performance.

  • Monitor MuleSoft runtimes, Mule applications, APIs, and integration endpoints.

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production and platform issues.

  • Manage platform users, roles, permissions, and access controls based on least-privilege principles.

  • Support deployment and promotion of Mule applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated MuleSoft application deployments.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft applications and APIs using Anypoint Studio.

  • Develop and maintain integration flows connecting Medicaid systems with internal and external data sources.

  • Lead or support migration of legacy Oracle Service Bus (OSB) / Oracle SOA Suite integrations to MuleSoft.

  • Analyze OSB proxy services, pipelines, business services, transformations, and integration logic to determine appropriate MuleSoft migration strategies.

  • Preserve existing functionality and downstream system compatibility during migration activities.

  • Develop data mappings and transformations using DataWeave.

  • Configure and manage API gateways, API policies, throttling, SLA tiers, and security controls.

  • Implement and support API security using technologies such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mutual TLS (mTLS).

  • Troubleshoot integration failures, review application logs, and perform root-cause analysis.

  • Maintain technical documentation, including environment configurations, runbooks, deployment procedures, and API inventories.

  • Coordinate with MuleSoft/Salesforce and Agency IT teams regarding platform upgrades, patches, licensing, and technical issues.

  • Participate in production support and on-call/escalation activities for critical integration incidents.

  • Follow Agency IT standards, change-management procedures, and HIPAA/HITECH security and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform administration experience.

  • Strong experience with:

    • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

    • CloudHub

    • Runtime Manager

    • API Manager

    • Anypoint Exchange

    • Anypoint Studio

    • DataWeave

  • Experience designing and supporting RESTful and SOAP APIs.

  • Strong understanding of HTTP/S protocols and enterprise integration patterns.

  • Experience developing data transformations using DataWeave.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as:

    • Jenkins

    • Azure DevOps

    • GitHub Actions

  • Experience automating MuleSoft application deployments.

  • Knowledge of API security technologies including:

    • OAuth 2.0

    • JWT

    • Mutual TLS

    • API gateway policies

  • Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze MuleSoft application logs and diagnostic information.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating integrations from Oracle Service Bus (OSB) or Oracle SOA Suite to MuleSoft.

  • Experience supporting Medicaid, healthcare, or other large government enterprise systems.

  • Experience working in environments governed by HIPAA, HITECH, or healthcare data-security requirements.

  • MuleSoft certifications such as:

    • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1

    • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2

    • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect
