Job Details

Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and manage processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure strong team performance. Pipeline Management: Oversee the loan pipeline to ensure timely processing and closing in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs). Operational Excellence: Evaluate and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times from submission through post-closing. Broker Relations: Partner with sales teams to deliver exceptional service and support to third-party broker partners. Compliance & Risk: Ensure all loans meet company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements (TRID, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending). Quality Control: Address findings from quality control and underwriting reviews and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications 7+ years of mortgage industry experience 5+ years of leadership experience managing operations teams Wholesale mortgage experience is required Strong understanding of the full loan lifecycle (processing, underwriting, closing) Knowledge of mortgage regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Fair Lending) Experience with a Loan Origination System (LOS) such as Encompass or similar Proven ability to manage pipelines, meet deadlines, and drive team performance Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite in Brea, CA
