Role Overview
We are looking for a Digital Services Technical Manager with the technical skills to drive innovation and collaboration between diverse teams. As a manager, you will lead initiatives and build processes to advocate for modern software practices through a DevSecOps methodology. You will serve as a key technical leader to drive the maturity of current software development and the continuous delivery of highly visible applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to drive the maturity of software development and continuous delivery of applications.
- Oversee and implement technology transformation initiatives, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
- Assess technical and business environments to understand impact and risks, providing executive-level communication.
- Respond to RFIs and draft technical approach responses aligned with strategic goals.
- Provide accountability for digital services initiatives and lead resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Use modern tools and observability metrics to identify, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise or cloud platform issues.
- Prioritize, manage, and own emerging customer issues from start to finish.
- Set the foundation for how data, systems, and new technologies connect and work together.
- Create and review documentation for incident events, root cause analysis, and mitigation procedures.
- Participate in Agile sprints to evolve business processes and technologies.
- Manage the workload and performance of employees and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience, with potential supervisory or lead experience.
- At least 10 years of experience building or operating on AWS, networking, IT Security tools, databases, and other tools.
- Hands-on technical expertise in DevSecOps, security, automation, application development, databases, implementation, integration, and release management.
- Experience establishing and maturing application development and CICD towards progressive delivery.
- Ability to work with Terraform for infrastructure as code solutions.
- Strong understanding of identity access management roles and permissions.
- Experience with tools in an AWS Cloud environment such as CloudWatch and OpenSearch, and security tools like Aqua and DLP.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based containerized applications (AWS EKS), including Spring Boot-based container services.
- Experience with Gitlab CICD, including enabling environments, feature flags, and DORA Metrics aggregation.
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog and other real-time monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Coding proficiency in at least one software language (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby).
- Must be able to support a 24/7 environment and work off-hours for issues or changes.
- Leadership presence and communication skills to effectively work with customers at all levels.
- Experience with PaaS (Platform as a Service) environments.
- Knowledge of network administration and management principles.
- Familiarity with remote access software including SFTP, RDP (Citrix), and PCoIP/DCV (AWS Workspaces, AWS Session Manager) protocols.
- AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification.
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
