Role: Senior NetScaler ADC Automation Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months Contract
We are seeking a Senior NetScaler ADC Automation Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in Citrix NetScaler (ADC) and a strong background in automation architecture and infrastructure-as-code. This role is primarily focused on designing, building, and maintaining automated frameworks that support scalable, repeatable, and secure application delivery services using NetScaler.
The engineer will lead automation design efforts leveraging the NetScaler NITRO API, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual configuration, standardize deployments, and support large-scale application delivery modernization initiatives. Exposure to F5 BIG-IP environments is beneficial but not required, as NetScaler is the primary platform for this role.
Required Qualifications:
· 7+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC.
· Strong expertise with the NetScaler NITRO API.
· Proven automation experience using Ansible (NetScaler collections/modules) and Python (REST integrations, data modeling, templating).
· Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for network or ADC automation.
· Strong understanding of L4–L7 application delivery concepts including SSL/TLS, persistence, health monitoring, and traffic management.
· Proficiency with JSON, YAML, Jinja2, and Git workflows.
Nice to Have:
· Experience working with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM) in mixed ADC environments.
· Familiarity with NetScaler Responder and Rewrite policies.
· Experience automating NetScaler WAF configurations.
· Background supporting large-scale ADC migrations or standardization efforts.
· Knowledge of certificate automation and enterprise PKI workflows.
Soft Skills:
· Ability to translate manual NetScaler configurations into scalable automation solutions.
· Strong ownership and comfort leading discovery-driven engineering efforts.
