Role Description
We are seeking a Senior VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Consultant, a true virtualization expert whose career has been centered around VMware technologies and enterprise infrastructure.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on building, integrating, and validating VCF environments within complex enterprise customer environments.
You will work alongside architects and client teams to bring designs to life, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability from Day 1.

What You'll Do
Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, including:
VCF 9.x platforms
Fleet Management to include VCF Operations
Management Domain
Workload Domains
vSphere 8.x
vSAN 8.x
NSX 9.x
SDDC Manager (LCM, lifecycle, and orchestration for legacy VCF 5.x environments)
Execute detailed build plans aligned to architectural designs
Implement network, storage, and security policies
Validate integrations across compute, network, and storage layers
Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues
Perform system validation, optimization, and performance tuning
Create as-built documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Support Day 1 and Day 2 operations, including knowledge transfer
Collaborate directly with customer technical teams and stakeholders

We are specifically targeting VMware-first professionals, engineers who have built their careers in virtualization, SDDC, and private cloud.

Core Expertise:
Deep hands-on experience with:
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5.x / 9.x)
vSphere (8.x / 9.x)
NSX (NSX 4.x and greater)
vSAN
SDDC Manager for legacy VCF 5.x environments only
Proven experience deploying and managing production-grade VCF environments

Automation & Modern Infrastructure (Highly Valued)

Experience with 1 or more of the following:
Kubernetes (VMware Tanzu / VKS)
VCF Operations
VCF Automation
VMware Aria Suite (formerly vRealize: Aria Automation, Aria Operations) for legacy VCF 5.x environments only
Ansible
Terraform
Python

VMware Certified Professional VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (VCP-VCF | 2V0-13.25 or latest equivalent)
VMware Certified Expert (Formerly VCAP) in VCF9 Architecture or Implementation
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) Data Center Virtualization Design / Deploy (highly valued)- Legacy Certificate
VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (2V0-13.23 or latest equivalent)
