Dynamics 365 Developer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 specialist to support complex development initiatives. This Long-term Contract position combines hands-on solution delivery with technical leadership, helping teams create reliable customizations, integrations, and platform enhancements that meet business goals. The role will partner closely with functional and technical stakeholders to maintain strong development standards, resolve challenges, and keep project work moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance Dynamics 365 solutions by creating tailored features, extensions, and connected services that address business and client needs.

Develop scalable technical components using tools such as X++, C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.

Review team deliverables to uphold coding standards, security expectations, and overall solution performance before release.

Guide code promotion through the development lifecycle and confirm readiness for testing and deployment activities.

Investigate technical issues, provide practical solutions, and support team members in resolving complex development problems.

Coordinate with distributed contributors and external partners to align deliverables, timelines, and handoffs across the project.

Translate functional requirements into technical approaches by working closely with consultants, project leads, and delivery teams.

Create and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications, including API-based and Azure-enabled connections.

Support data migration efforts by planning and executing secure, accurate movement of information between systems.

Strengthen development practices through documentation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing improvements to codebases and team processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of experience developing and extending solutions within the Dynamics 365 environment.
Strong programming capability in X++, C#, and JavaScript for enterprise application development.
Hands-on experience with Power Platform, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and system integration work.
Demonstrated success performing code reviews, troubleshooting defects, and managing code promotion activities.
Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and tools such as Azure DevOps for planning and workflow tracking.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement, or Enterprise Asset Management is preferred.
Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform development are a plus.
