Description:

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Enterprise Agile Coaches to join our Agile Center of Excellence (CoE). As we drive Agile Product Transformation across the organization, these critical consulting roles require a blend of technical expertise, exceptional coaching skills, and deep Agile knowledge.

The role involves hands-on coaching, mentoring, and guiding product teams, product leaders, and stakeholders toward Agile maturity. This position emphasizes adopting Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and aligning with organizational goals. Reporting to the Deputy CTO and/or Director of the CoE, this role is pivotal in ensuring Agile practices are effectively integrated within Client IT's broader transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Transformation Coaching

Support large-scale Agile Product transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with CoE leadership to develop and execute a tailored Agile transformation coaching roadmap.

Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to drive Agile maturity.

Guide product teams in adopting Agile and product-focused practices to enhance delivery and business value.

Serve as a trusted advisor to teams and mid-level leadership, reinforcing Agile principles and best practices.

Training and Facilitation

Design and deliver interactive workshops, training sessions, and hands-on labs to upskill teams and leaders on Agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

Educate teams on technical best practices, including DevOps, XP engineering (TDD, CI/CD, pairing), and Lean principles.

Continuous Improvement

Foster a culture of learning and adaptation by embedding effective retrospectives and data-driven decision-making.

Analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify Agile adoption challenges and provide tailored coaching support.

Facilitate alignment and collaboration among teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth Agile transformation journey.

Best Practices Implementation & Agile Tools

Standardize Agile practices, ceremonies, and workflows across teams.

Leverage Jira, Confluence, Align, and other Atlassian tools to optimize Agile processes, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting.

Establish and monitor key Agile metrics (team health, velocity, transformation progress) to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of software development experience.

8+ years in Agile coaching roles, with proven success in Agile transformations within large, complex environments.

Certifications:

Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent credentials.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).

Strong systems thinking and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

Deep understanding of technical practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and drive change within teams.

Preferred Experience:

Experience transitioning teams from traditional methodologies to Agile frameworks.

Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and product-centric practices.

Understanding of organizational behavior and change management.

Track record of fostering continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Skills

Metrics-driven coaching, leveraging Agile data to inform decisions and drive improvements.

Deep understanding of organizational change management principles.

Passion for mentoring teams on technical excellence, including TDD and paired programming.

Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
