We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop and deliver advanced prognostics and diagnostics solutions for connected vehicle platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, MBSE, automotive systems, and data analytics. This role involves system architecture design, predictive feature development, vehicle data analysis, requirements management, validation testing, and integration of cloud-to-vehicle solutions. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve vehicle reliability, quality, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop prognostic and diagnostic features for connected vehicles.
- Design system architectures using MBSE, SysML, and MagicDraw.
- Create and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models and generate C++ code.
- Analyze vehicle telemetry, CAN bus, and sensor data to identify trends and predict failures.
- Perform DFMEA, FMEDA, functional safety, and cybersecurity assessments.
- Define, document, and trace system requirements using Jama, Jira, and TeamCenter.
- Support vehicle testing, validation, and system integration activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, data analytics, and software teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Required Skills:
- MATLAB/Simulink and C++ development
- Systems Engineering and MBSE (SysML, MagicDraw)
- Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- DFMEA, FMEDA, ISO 26262, ISO 21434
- SQL and cloud-based data analytics
- Requirements management tools (Jama, Jira, TeamCenter)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Required Experience:
- Master''s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of automotive systems engineering, controls, or data analytics experience
- Experience with diagnostics, prognostics, vehicle architecture, and validation activities
- Experience working with connected vehicle data and cross-functional engineering teams.
