• 5+ years experience as a software developer on a software development team.
• 4 years experience focused on developing mobile applications; Minimum 4 years experience using Flutter. Balance may be experience developing natively or with another hybrid mobile technology such as React Native, Ionic, etc. (Successfully developed or contributed to the development of at least 3 commercially released mobile apps)
• Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing defect tracking, Trunk based development, CI/CD, etc.
• Experience using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and REST
• Senior-level knowledge/experience applying Object Oriented programming and design principles such as SOLID - (Need to understand bug finding, root cause analysis, etc)
• Experience working with Generative AI.

What you ll be doing:

• Work with peers, architects, and business stake holders to design and build mobile apps that delight our customers.
• Interface with other team members and technical personnel to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Conduct research and implement proofs of concept to aid other engineers and management in decision making.
• Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
• Possess the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

What you ll need:

• Good oral and written communications skills with the ability to lead and engage in discussion with both business and technical staff.
• 5+ years experience as a software developer on a software development team.
• Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing defect tracking, Trunk based development, CI/CD, etc.
• 3+ years experience developing mobile applications using Flutter. Will consider candidates with less than 3 years of Flutter development experience who have already transitioned from other hybrid mobile frameworks such as React Native or Ionic.
• Senior-level knowledge/experience applying Object Oriented programming and design principles.
• Successfully developed or contributed to the development of multiple commercially released apps. Please provide app store links in your application.
• Experience using the following tools: Android Studio, Java (or Kotlin), XCode (Objective-C or Swift). Web application development skills are a plus: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, REST, Java EE, and Spring. Experience using Azure DevOps and Jenkins are a PLUS.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with the Apple App Store and Google Play app store processes and procedures.
• BS Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
