Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Architect with expertise in Oracle Database, IBM DB2, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale database solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database architecture, performance tuning, data migration, and reporting, along with a proven ability to manage large-scale databases exceeding 1 TB in size.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise database architecture to support business-critical applications.
• Administer, optimize, and support Oracle databases in high-volume production environments.
• Extract, migrate, transform, and integrate data from IBM DB2 databases into Oracle or other target platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and storage management.
• Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Support enterprise ETL processes and large-scale data migration initiatives.
• Ensure database security, compliance, and data integrity across all environments.
• Collaborate with application development teams, business stakeholders, and data engineers to deliver scalable and reliable database solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance and operational issues.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration and Database Architecture.
• Experience working with IBM DB2 databases, including data extraction and migration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience managing and supporting large enterprise databases (1 TB+).
• Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with data migration, replication, and integration projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tools and enterprise data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of database security, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• Experience designing enterprise data architecture and reporting environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud database platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with database automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and database management tools.
