Job Description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Lead to lead the design, development, modernization, and production support of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Azure, React.js, Kafka, microservices, and legacy application modernization. This is a highly hands-on leadership position that requires active coding, solution design, architecture reviews, technical mentoring, and collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Candidates must be comfortable completing an initial coding assessment followed by three technical and managerial interview rounds.

Required Skills Mandatory

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8.
• Proven experience leading full-stack application development teams.
• Extensive experience supporting and modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
• Strong experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on production experience with Apache Kafka, including:
• Producers and consumers
• Topics and partitions
• Consumer groups
• Message processing
• Event-driven architecture
• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based application deployments.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including:
• Database design
• Stored procedures
• Query optimization
• Performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, distributed systems, and application scalability.
• Must be local to the Dallas area and available to work onsite five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise .NET applications.
• Develop production-quality code across backend services and React.js applications.
• Modernize legacy and monolithic applications using cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Build scalable REST APIs and integrations using ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Lead Azure application deployments and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and recommend appropriate modernization strategies.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the delivery of secure, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
• Drive application performance, reliability, security, and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating legacy or monolithic .NET applications to microservices.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of distributed messaging and event-streaming platforms.
• Experience implementing service-to-service communication and resiliency patterns.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience leading onsite and offshore development teams.
