Job DetailsWe're hiring a Production Manager to own day-to-day manufacturing at our new plant, including PVC extrusion and molding operations.
What you'll do:
- Lead all production shifts through supervisors and leads; hire, train and develop the team as the plant ramps up
- Own safety, quality, output and cost targets (OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, on-time delivery)
- Set up and standardize production processes, work instructions and shift reporting
- Partner with maintenance, quality, engineering and supply chain to hit startup milestones and solve problems fast
- Drive continuous improvement and lean practices (5S, standard work, root cause and corrective action)
- Manage production scheduling, staffing plans and the department budget
- Build a strong, accountable safety culture from day one
What you need:
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, including 2+ years managing supervisors or multiple shifts
- Plastics experience strongly preferred: PVC/pipe/profile extrusion or injection molding
- Plant startup, expansion or new line launch experience is a big plus
- Track record improving OEE, scrap and safety metrics
- Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems and Excel-based reporting
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Willing to live in or relocate to southwest Arkansas
