Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for modern endpoint management.
Job DescriptionThis position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.Responsibilities:- Own, manage and monitor systems management environments to ensure optimal health, performance and availability.
- Manage the evaluation and implementation of new products and technologies which typically cover a broad variety of enterprise-class infrastructure disciplines.
- Proactively plans capacity of platforms and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues related to systems management infrastructure, escalating when necessary.
- Implement updates and patches to maintain system security and compliance with organizational standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues.
- Maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
- Communicate changes to operations and support teams.
- Prioritize Keeping the Lights On (KTLO), executing projects, and individual tasks.
- Collaborate on project deliverables with team leads.
- Act as a technical resource for operations, audits, and peers.
- Deliver and maintain systems and documentation including testing and validation procedures.
- Mentor and train support teams on technical tasks.
Skills:- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium, Microsoft InTune and/or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Advanced scripting language using PowerShell, HTTP and Python.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
EducationBachelor's: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor's: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)
