Summary

We are seeking Fiber & Structured Cabling Technicians to support large-scale cabling upgrades inside multiple data center facilities in the local Lincoln area. This work involves replacing existing coax infrastructure with fiber, pulling large volumes of cable, and completing fiber terminations.
Technicians may be required to travel between nearby sites within the local area, depending on project needs. No out-of-state travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, route, and manage high volumes of fiber and structured cabling
  • Terminate fiber ends following performance and quality standards
  • Install cable trays, ladder racks, and pathway hardware
  • Support general low-voltage and cabling installation tasks
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades inside data center environments
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Top Skills Needed

  • Cable pulling (Cat5/Cat6)
  • Structured cabling
  • Low-voltage installation
  • Fiber installation & termination
  • Coax replacement experience (a plus)
  • Experience in data centers or commercial facilities (preferred)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
