Key Responsibilities
Target Profile: Front-end developer with strong JavaScript/React experience who can support Adobe Analytics reporting, debug analytics issues, and partner with business teams
UI Developer / Analytics Engineer to support web and application analytics across high-traffic eCommerce platforms.
This person will primarily support KTLO work, including Adobe Analytics report support, troubleshooting, debugging, and translating analytics/reporting issues into clear business-facing insights.
The role will also help support Walmart's custom-built Site360 platform by validating Adobe Analytics data, understanding business reporting needs, and partnering with engineering, analytics, and product stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Your notes specifically call out Adobe Analytics, report building, KTLO support, debugging reports in Adobe, business translation, Site360, JavaScript, web and app services, API calls, JavaScript libraries, and Adobe Experience Platform.
- Support Adobe Analytics reporting and report-building needs, including debugging report issues and helping business teams understand what the data is showing.
- Help translate Adobe Analytics/reporting issues into business-friendly explanations that support Walmart's custom Site360 platform.
- Provide KTLO support for analytics and front-end reporting workflows, ensuring existing reports, tracking, and related web/app services continue to function as expected.
- Work with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, API calls, and web/app services to troubleshoot analytics implementation and data flow issues.
- Support Adobe Experience Platform-related work where needed, including understanding how AEP connects to analytics and reporting needs.
- Partner with product and analytics stakeholders to define tracking requirements, document data specifications, and validate data accuracy across Walmart eCommerce platforms.
- Investigate analytics pipeline issues, identify root causes of data drops or misconfigurations, and help resolve issues across Adobe ClickStream or related ingestion workflows.
- Support QA-to-production deployment activities for analytics tracking updates and coordinate with technical teams as needed.
- Build, maintain, or troubleshoot React/Next.js front-end components where analytics changes require UI or data-layer support.
- Integrate and troubleshoot APIs, including GraphQL or REST-based services, used to support web application data flows.
- Maintain internal documentation for analytics datasets, ClickStream workflows, tracking variables, or reporting logic to improve cross-team understanding.
Required Skills
- Strong JavaScript experience, including modern JavaScript libraries and front-end development fundamentals.
- Hands-on React experience, ideally including React Hooks, React/Redux, TypeScript, and reusable component development.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, including report debugging, event tracking, or analytics implementation support.
- Ability to support report building and translate technical analytics/reporting issues for business stakeholders.
- Experience working with APIs, including REST APIs, JSON, Fetch/Axios, and ideally GraphQL.
- Familiarity with web and app analytics across web, iOS, and Android environments is helpful because the prior Walmart work included omnichannel digital properties across those channels.
- Experience supporting KTLO or production support workflows where debugging, validation, and stakeholder communication are part of the day-to-day role.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform is preferred based on your role notes.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Agile/Scrum, Jira/Radar-style tracking, and CI/CD support is relevant based on the prior profile.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Next.js, React 18, TypeScript, Redux Saga, React Query, or Nx monorepo experience.
- ClickStream pipeline exposure, including event data validation, ingestion troubleshooting, or analytics pipeline support.
- BigQuery or reporting dataset experience, especially in an eCommerce environment.
- Experience with OpenObserve, OpenTelemetry, Lighthouse, sitespeed-io, Jest, TestCafe, or similar debugging/testing/performance tools.
Experience supporting large-scale retail, eCommerce, cart, product detail, checkout, or conversion funnel reporting. The related analytics platform JD references conversion funnel reporting, user behavior tracking, product views, cart additions, checkout progress, completed purchases, conversion rate, abandonment, and checkout performance.
