Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend lifespan.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and accurately to minimize production downtime.
4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
7. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
8. Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
9. Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
2. Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
5. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
6. Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Commitment to compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
