We are seeking a detail oriented and collaborative Functional Analyst or Product Analyst to support digital product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating business needs into clear functional requirements while working closely with cross functional teams in an Agile environment.

Location: Remote with Hybrid Flexibility
Preference: Candidates in California Time Zone.
Ideal location Sacramento, CA or nearby for occasional travel
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, structured functional specifications
Write user stories and define detailed acceptance criteria
Participate actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to support product delivery
Identify requirement gaps and propose functional solutions
Support User Acceptance Testing by assisting business users, validating functionality, logging defects, and coordinating issue resolution
Track and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams
Contribute to a product driven approach with strong problem solving skills
Provide conceptual input on UI and UX considerations
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Consultant supporting technology or digital products
Strong understanding of business processes and product functionality
Hands on experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management
Experience supporting UAT and defect tracking
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile management tools
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
