Job Description Our client, a leading organization in the property and casualty insurance industry, is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst II. The role centers on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting reporting needs, and ensuring high-quality data outputs across the business.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous business questions into structured, data-driven answers. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead discussions to define reporting needs, and play a key role in shaping how data is used across underwriting, product, and operational functions.
This is a hybrid position in Webster MA.
Required Skills & Experience - Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation
- 4-6 years of experience working with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
- Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business insights
- Ability to gather and document business requirements clearly
- Background in data validation, quality assurance, and governance best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with SAS or other statistical tools
- Experience within insurance, underwriting, product, or related domains
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to make data-driven recommendations
- Experience supporting ad hoc reporting and exploratory data analysis
