Hybrid 4 days onsite in Berwyn, PA

Our client seeks an Application Support professional focused on Tier 2 and Tier 3 level production support. The role requires reading Java code, troubleshooting failures, investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, recommending fixes, and collaborating with engineering. The position is not a production monitoring analyst role and is intended to grow into engineering responsibilities over time.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret Java code to support applications.
Troubleshoot code failures and production defects.
Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Recommend fixes and partner with engineering for implementation.
Create and run SQL queries to support investigations.
Leverage scripting for diagnostics and automation.
Support enterprise systems in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 capacity.

Experience Requirements:

1 to 3 years in application support or production support.
3 to 10 years in full stack engineering is beneficial.
Hands-on Java and SQL experience.
Proficiency with debugging and root cause analysis.
Scripting experience for tooling or automation.
Background supporting enterprise-scale applications.
