About the Job- We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Function Analyst Lead to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP IBP, Supply chain along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP IBP Senior Consultant with 8+ years of expertise in demand planning and supply planning heuristics and optimizer, including hands-on configuration experience. As a Lead Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for driving successful SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementations, configuring the SAP IBP system, and providing expert guidance to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess ship and will be required to pass a comprehensive background check.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- 8 years of relevant experience as an SAP IBP Consultant, focusing on demand planning and supply planning heuristics and optimizer, with hands-on configuration experience.
- Hands-on experience in configuring SAP IBP and actively participating in at least three full-cycle SAP IBP implementations.
- Deep understanding of SAP IBP functionalities and integration with other SAP modules.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address complex business challenges.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to achieve project objectives.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project engagements.
Job Duties
- Lead SAP IBP implementation projects, including design, hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment, to meet clients' business requirements for demand planning and supply planning processes.
- Configure the SAP IBP system based on clients' specific needs, ensuring optimal utilization of the platform for demand planning and supply planning, and addressing hands-on configuration tasks.
- Provide subject matter expertise in demand planning and supply planning heuristics and optimizer functionalities within SAP IBP, demonstrating hands-on configuration capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective SAP IBP solutions, optimizing forecasting, demand management, supply planning with supply chain optimization.
- Conduct workshops, meetings, and training sessions to guide clients through the adoption of SAP IBP best practices and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Assist clients in defining and improving their end-to-end planning processes by leveraging the capabilities of SAP IBP, with a focus on hands-on configuration tasks.
- Resolve complex issues and provide technical support during and after SAP IBP implementation projects, utilizing hands-on configuration expertise to address system challenges.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in SAP IBP and supply chain planning domains to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions, incorporating hands-on configuration knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to deliver integrated and efficient SAP IBP solutions, actively participating in the configuration process.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the implemented solutions, verifying configuration settings.
- Document project deliverables, business requirements, design specifications, and technical configurations to ensure project knowledge retention and share configuration-related insights.
