Senior Business Analyst Healthcare

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 6+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, and requirements management. Healthcare or pharmaceutical domain experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications for technical teams.
• Analyse and validate business and analytical data using SQL queries.
• Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and reporting activities.
• Work closely with data engineers, developers, QA teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with testing and quality assurance of analytics and data deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other project meetings.
• Identify business and data-related issues and work with technical teams to drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, and other project artifacts.
• Support data analysis and reporting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Basic working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation.
• Strong experience gathering, analysing, documenting, and validating business requirements.
• Experience working with data mapping, transformation, reporting, and analytics.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Business Analysis experience within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domain.
• Prior experience working on pharma analytics projects.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Understanding of IQVIA datasets or commercial pharmaceutical data.
• Experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical, commercial, or clinical data.
