Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong experience in Agile environments, JIRA, and unit testing. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear requirements, smooth sprint execution, and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Perform gap analysis and process improvement recommendations
• Support solution design by collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA teams

Agile & JIRA

• Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to support sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
• Create and manage JIRA tickets (epics, stories, tasks, bugs)
• Maintain product backlog and ensure traceability from requirements to delivery
• Track sprint progress and assist in resolving blockers

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Define test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements
• Support and participate in unit testing, system testing, and UAT
• Validate test results and ensure defects are properly logged, tracked, and resolved
• Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Business Analysis
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile tools (Confluence preferred)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Knowledge of unit testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Ability to write clear functional specifications and user stories
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Exposure to automation testing or QA tools is a plus
