.NET Developer - Onsite - Contract Position

Role: Senior .NET Developer (Property & Casualty Domain)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend systems, leading development teams, and working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, client interaction, and hands-on backend development experience using C# and .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations for onsite meetings, requirement gathering, and technical documentation.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
• Lead and mentor backend developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Develop and optimize relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain system design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security compliance.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps processes.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and query optimization.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and dependency injection in .NET.
• Knowledge of middleware architecture in .NET applications.
• Experience working with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Strong understanding of backend security best practices.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience (Mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise-level insurance applications.
• Prior experience leading backend development teams.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Exposure to performance tuning and system scalability strategies.
• Experience working in hybrid onsite client environments.
