Serves as the lead subject matter expert for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and B2B integration within a manufacturing environment utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 F&O). This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable integration solutions that enable secure and efficient data exchange between the organization and its trading partners. This position acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams—translating business requirements into effective system solutions that drive operational efficiency and measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in EDI technologies and Microsoft-based ERP environments (AX 2009, AX 2012, D365) with strong solution architecture capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable, and future-ready integration frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for EDI and other B2B and ERP integration technologies.
- Partner cross functionally with stakeholders
- Review and document current state processes
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities
- Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design and validate EDI solutions and offer guidance on the implementation of best practices, security standards and architectural principles.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, including solution reviews and design oversight.
- Support the creation and maintenance of process and system documentation to enable effective knowledge transfer, system stability, smooth hyper care, and operational transitions.
- Mentor, coach and train team members within the EDI and B2B integration domain.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, protocols, and standards and recommend improvements in services and products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes, and integration capabilities.
- Collaborate across functional areas including Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment of solutions with business
- Perform other duties assigned that support the overall success of the team, department, or organization. This may include participating in cross-functional initiatives, contributing to process improvements, or assisting with special projects as needed.
- 7+ years of experience with EDI implementation, integration, and maintenance
- Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP integration
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 integration development tools for EDI mapping and business process modeling
- Experience with EDI configuration, including partner profile setup and business process modeling
- Advanced experience EDI inbound and outbound interface functionality and developing and supporting interfaces for different business processes
- Experience with EDI transactions such as 850, 855, 856, 810, etc.
- Experience with EDI communications such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and VAN
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
- Excellent communication skills
