Summary
We are seeking an experienced ESP Scheduler / Data Migration Specialist with strong expertise in enterprise workload automation, batch scheduling, data conversion, and data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ESP Workload Automation (ESP dSeries), ETL processes, data mapping, data validation, and migration projects supporting enterprise applications and large-scale business transformations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing batch scheduling activities, coordinating data conversion efforts, supporting migration projects, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in ESP Workload Automation (ESP Scheduler / ESP dSeries).
- Strong experience with enterprise batch processing and workload automation.
- Experience in Data Conversion and Data Migration projects.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration methodologies.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation activities.
- Ability to analyze source and target system data structures.
- Experience creating and maintaining batch schedules, dependencies, and job streams.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support ESP Workload Automation environments.
- Create, maintain, and optimize enterprise batch schedules and workflows.
- Monitor daily production batch cycles and resolve job failures.
- Design and execute data conversion and migration strategies.
- Perform source-to-target data mapping and transformation activities.
- Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation efforts.
- Develop and execute migration testing plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate migrated data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
- Work closely with business users, application teams, DBAs, and project stakeholders.
- Manage batch dependencies supporting migration and conversion activities.
- Create migration status reports and communicate project updates to leadership.
- Support cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-migration validation.
- Document migration procedures, workflows, and operational processes.
- Participate in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting efforts.
