Summary
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Sr Security Engineer to support security modernization initiative, actively working with security automation and enhancing security architectures. This is a long term contract working 100% remote.
The Sr Security Engineer will support the development and implementation of automation and tool development for IAM solutions within the LINUX environment, working closely with business units and security architects to align solutions with security strategy.

The Sr Security Engineer will support the development and implementation of automation and tool development for IAM solutions within the LINUX environment, working closely with business units and security architects to align solutions with security strategy.
Duties:
- Support the planning and design of enterprise security tools and automation, working closely with stakeholders and security architects to align security needs and technical specifications with client security strategy.
- Implement SIEM tools, endpoint management tools, and SOAR platforms to support network, system, and cloud security.
- Develop Python, YAML, and PowerShell automation scripts to automate workflows for alerts, triage, incident response, and escalations for potential threats across multiple platforms.
- Support API customizations and modifications to improve system and tool integrations
- Assist with Identity and Access Management initiatives including provisioning accounts, access reviews, and IAM tool integrations.
- Support enterprise technologies including CRIBL, Tenable, proofpoint, and Palo Alto used for security and compliance requirements.
- Monitor LINUX logs, identifying any potential system or vulnerability concerns.
- Manage high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities and tools.
- Create audit ready documentation to support security efforts.
- In-depth experience working with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint management tools
- Scripting experience
- willing to work on 24x7x365 on call rotation
