Project Manager with Microsoft Services

Core Responsibilities
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned with Microsoft methodologies (e.g., Cloud Adoption Framework, Microsoft Services Delivery Methodology).
- Manage end-to-end execution of Microsoft-centric professional services and managed IT engagements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans encompassing scope, milestones, resource allocation, budget, and dependencies.
- Lead and coordinate teams of architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, executive sponsors, and internal Microsoft teams.
- Oversee project budgets, track billable hours, and allocate technical resources.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks or scope creep.
- Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards and align with contracted statements of work
- Track project funding, monitor burn rates, and support billing or proof-of-execution activities
Required Qualifications
· 5-8 years of experience leading complex, technical projects in an IT services or consulting environment. Typically, 5+ years of hands-on project or program management experience
· Strong working familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Azure Cloud migrations, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365).
· Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks
· Proficiency with enterprise-level project execution tools like Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or relevant Microsoft Cloud/Agile certifications are highly preferred.
· Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals) are highly desirable.
· Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
