WE NEED CANDIDATES WHO HAVE INVESTMENT BANKING AND FINANCE DOMAIN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead planning, design, and implementation of high-priority network initiatives across the enterprise.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical network solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reference architectures, and functional specifications for Engineering and Operations teams.
- Own regulatory compliance documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests and inspections.
- Provide Level 3 (engineering-level) support for network systems.
- Drive Operational Readiness: develop and execute test plans, perform network checkouts, and validate production soundness.
- Review new engineering designs to ensure consistent network strategy across teams.
- Build and manage network risk logs and remediation plans.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive technology infrastructure developments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- In-depth knowledge of Multicast routing protocols and methodologies within a financial services environment.
- Advanced WAN Virtualization: MPLS/VRF and related services, including Multicast VRF (MVPN).
- Solid understanding of the OSI model across all layers.
- Experience with Optical networking, including DWDM.
- Familiarity with network monitoring strategies and tooling.
- Strong understanding of security principles and network best practices.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and their interaction with network components.
- Scripting experience with Python, PERL, or TCL.
- Multi-vendor network environment experience.
- Exceptional written documentation and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of relevant network engineering and architecture experience.
- Prior experience in the financial industry and low-latency network environments strongly preferred.
- JNCIP certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
