Description
We are looking for a dedicated EDI Analyst to join our team in Bartlett, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing electronic data interchange (EDI) systems to ensure seamless communication with trading partners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, leveraging your technical expertise to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Configure, test, and maintain EDI transactions such as 850, 810, and 856 to support external trading partner integrations.
Monitor EDI transmissions to identify and resolve issues related to data mapping, integrity, and communication errors.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather business requirements and transform them into effective EDI configurations.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data mappings, technical specifications, and communication protocols.
Provide ongoing support for EDI processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction handling.
Conduct integration and regression testing with vendors and business partners to validate system functionality.
Assist in the maintenance and upgrades of EDI software and tools to keep systems fully operational.
Participate in special projects and contribute to system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience working with EDI systems and applications.
Strong knowledge of EDI standards such as X12 and data transmission protocols like AS2.
Hands-on experience with Boomi iPaaS solutions.
Proficiency in reading, building, and executing EDI queries.
Familiarity with all stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently or collaboratively.
