Job Title: Dynatrace Observability Engineer
Location: Remote
Experience:
15+ years in IT with 8+ years in Dynatrace
Key Skills:
Administration, APIs, Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting
Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure Dynatrace platform as per best practices
- Onboard applications/infrastructure (APM, RUM, tracing, dependency mapping)
- Design alerting and event management to reduce noise
- Automate workflows using APIs, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting
- Build dashboards and reports across apps, infra, cloud, and platforms
- Ensure high availability of agents, extensions, and synthetic monitoring
- Perform proactive performance analysis (stack traces, RUM, network flows)
- Define observability standards, access models, and processes
- Support teams with documentation and knowledge sharing
