Mainframe Developer

Title:   Mainframe Developer
 Location: Malvern, PA or Charlotte, NC - Hybrid role  
Contract Role: Initial 3 years + extension options - Long term contract role
Year of experience   : 6+ Years 

Qualification (6+ minimum years required)  :
 
•    Design, develop, maintain, and test mainframe applications using COBOL Stored Procedures, CICS, and SQL accessing DB2 and VSAM.
•    Proficient in JCL, PROCs, and mainframe  batch processing
•    Skilled in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
•    Experience with debugging across front end applications thru to backend processes and data
•    Experience with Service Now for Change Management and Confluence as a Documentation Repository  
•    Proficient in various SDLC models, including AGILE (SCRUM), TDD, and Waterfall    
•    Familiarity with  DevOps practices including JIRA and Github.    
•    Adept at interacting with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
•    Experienced in working with teams which are co-located and with remote offshore development teams.
•    Experience with Endevor for Version Management
•    Ability to think strategically and influence decisions without direct authority
