Analyst - IT Quality and Compliance
Position Description:

Equally important, our client must enable a secure, reliable, compliant, and efficient IT ecosystem, supporting all business functions.
Our client is seeking an IT Quality and Compliance Analyst to join our IT Compliance Function, who is well versed in IT compliance and has a passion for setting standards and optimizing and implementing processes. This global IT position is responsible for supporting compliance-related monitoring and assurance activities for enterprise IT controls across Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GxP Regulations, Privacy, and Information Security.
In addition to driving compliance, this role will be accountable for supporting the IT Compliance Subcommittee, coordinating across functions including global IT, Quality, Financial Control Office (FCO), Corporate Audit Services (CAS), Information Security, and Global Privacy with a focus on simplifying and streamlining internal processes and leveraging automation to enable consistent execution and documentation of control evidence.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop a solid understanding of existing IT processes, SOPs, and Global Quality Standards; Influence to simplify and internal policies and procedures for clarity across SOX, GXP, and non-regulated system controls requirements.
Partner with business stakeholder organizations on SOX and GXP related efforts, such as documentation of in-scope applications, systems, and databases, identification of key controls, development of test plans, and remediation of control deficiencies
Drive SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs) implementation with cross-functional IT teams and business technology teams and contribute to program design, optimization, and compliance.
Support activities designed to promote IT regulatory compliance, continual audit readiness, and adherence to control testing requirements.
Identify and lead implementation of opportunities for automation-driven compliance.
Assist with maintenance of internal compliance tracking software including reviewing required control documentation and test results and monitoring periodic control certification.
Routinely examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine risk exposure, and recommend remediation strategies.
Guide action plan development, performance monitoring, and reporting when deficiencies are identified.
Lead initiation and coordination of IT compliance projects
Provide training and mentorship in preparation for audits and ongoing process controls.
Work with control owners to remediate issues and complete testing of controls to close issues
Serve as a compliance resource for questions and consulting on the day-to-day processes.
Provide regular reports to global IT and other functional leaders on IT Compliance metrics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, finance, or related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT quality, validation, audit, and compliance
Prior Sarbanes Oxley 404 (SOX ITGC) Compliance, GXP/CSV and Data Privacy experience required
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving, analytical and process improvement skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership capability
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills - ability to communicate succinctly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
Project management skills and the ability to act independently and responsibly in a fast-moving environment.
Knowledge of IT Best Practices and Frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, GAMP, CMMI, NIST)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
