The organization maintains an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) built on the Teradata ecosystem. The Senior Systems Engineer will serve as a Platform Administrator for the EDW, supporting Production, Test, and Development/Disaster Recovery environments.
The EDW supports multiple state agencies with a large user base and high-volume data, enabling high-performance analytics, data mining, and enterprise decision support.

Responsibilities:
Provide platform administration for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Support multiple agencies and a large internal/external user base
Coordinate long-term EDW strategy with stakeholders and vendors
Lead technical planning, implementation, and delivery of EDW services
Manage vendor communication, escalated troubleshooting, and release/patch management
Provide OS guidance and EDW security expertise
Advise agencies on disaster recovery planning related to EDW and business applications
Monitor platform performance and resolve performance issues
Provide technical guidance and support to DBAs and specialists across the enterprise
