As an Aerospace Engineering Intern, you will:

Work with the latest, cutting edge technology
Provide creative solutions to complex problems

Responsibilities

A week in the life of an Aerospace Engineering Intern:

Contribute as a member of an advanced technical team
Perform aerospace modeling and simulation, design, test, and development.
Work with aircraft performance assessment, modeling of aircraft dynamics and aerodynamics, aircraft subsystems, and various payloads subsystems for the purpose of flight dynamics, flight controls, and aerodynamics analysis
Assist with the following:
- Design, develop, integrate, and test aircraft flight control systems and autopilots
- Develop, integrate, and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems, such as payloads, flight control components, and sensors
- Support lab, ground, and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics, sensors, and flight control systems
May have the opportunity to work with programming languages (C/C++)

Qualifications

High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experience

Preferred skills:

Experience with C/C++is desired but not required

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
