A bit about us:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position where the selected candidate will play a critical role in all stages of litigation, from inception through discovery and trial. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. This includes but is not limited to conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing cases, writing legal content, reviewing documents, preparing for trials, ensuring legal compliance, managing client relations, evaluating legal cases, utilizing legal software, and providing legal assistance. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
2. Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other court-related documents.
3. Provide comprehensive litigation support, including organizing evidence, managing case files, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
4. Review, analyze, and organize documents for discovery and trial purposes, including managing the e-discovery process.
5. Coordinate and manage all aspects of case management from inception through trial.
6. Draft, edit, and proofread legal content to ensure its quality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Assist in trial preparation, including the preparation of exhibits, witness interviews, and trial binders.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal compliance requirements and ensure that the organization adheres to these regulations.
9. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and addressing their queries promptly and professionally.
10. Evaluate legal cases meticulously, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a case to aid in strategy development.
11. Utilize legal software for efficient case management and document handling.
12. Provide general legal assistance, including attending court proceedings, depositions, and meetings.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in law or a related field. A Paralegal Certificate is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
3. Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation.
4. Demonstrated experience in litigation support, case management, and trial preparation.
5. Excellent legal writing skills and experience in document review.
6. Familiarity with e-discovery processes.
7. A strong understanding of legal compliance requirements.
8. Exceptional client relationship management skills.
9. Experience in legal case evaluation and the use of legal software.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
