Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Ideally looking for embedded engineers with:

familiar with SiLabs BG22 or similar

 Simplicity Studio IDE. 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to architect systems and subsystems of medium-level complexity
• Define requirements and specifications for the embedded system hardware and firmware
• Design firmware to run on the low-level hardware. Should be able to use a multitude of programming languages and tools.
• Work independently with little supervision
• Verification, analysis, and optimization of the firmware

 
Required Qualifications:

1. Proficiency with C/C++ and Embedded C is essential
2. Ability to design low-level software, perform FW verification, analysis, and optimization
3. Deep experience with microcontrollers: (ARM-based: STM32, NXP), AVR, DSP, PIC
4. Ability to design microprocessor/microcontroller subsystems and perform analysis of the design: power, thermal, timing, etc.
5. Skilled with common interfaces: CAN-Bus, SPI, I2C, SMbus, UART
6. Experience with IoT communication protocols: BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.
7. Experience with embedded RTOS, bare-metal development and middleware-level software
8. Ability to read schematics and understand component data sheets
9. Troubleshooting and debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
