Lead Full Stack Engineer (Python / AWS)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)
Type: Contract with potential Temp-to-Per

W2 Candidate only, NO C2C candidates entertained for this role.

Required Skills:

10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a lead role
Strong Python development experience (must have)
Full Stack development with JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular)
Backend experience with Node.js / Java / .NET / Python
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Glue)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or CloudFormation
Strong experience in API development and integrations
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Selenium)
Strong SQL and database experience

Nice to Have:

Experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management
Knowledge of OMS, PMS, trading platforms
Experience with Snowflake, event-driven architecture

Responsibilities:

Lead full stack development across cloud-based applications
Build React/Angular front-end and Python/Node/Java backend services
Design and implement scalable APIs and AWS cloud solutions
Manage CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
Collaborate with business, product, and investment technology teams
