Summary

We are actively seeking experienced Senior Java Developers to support a large-scale application development initiative. This is a fully onsite opportunity requiring strong hands-on experience in Java development, web applications, and database programming.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in building enterprise applications, writing complex SQL queries, and performing root cause analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Onsite)
Position Type: W2 Only
Number of Positions: 14

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java-based web applications
Perform hands-on coding using Java and J2EE technologies
Write and optimize complex SQL queries
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
Work with MVC architecture and design patterns
Support batch job processing and web services development

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in Java 6.0 and J2EE technologies
Experience with JSP, Custom Tag Libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, JDBC
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and DAO
Experience working with MVC architecture
Hands-on experience with Java IDE tools such as RAD 7.5 or higher
Experience in batch processing and web services development
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0
Strong SQL skills with DB2 and Oracle databases

Preferred Skills:

Experience with WebSphere running on SuSE Linux (VMware environment)
Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES)
Strong communication and analytical skills
