Position: Java Developer with iOS Experience
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid) - Need only be Local Denver, CO
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with iOS integration experience to support enterprise-grade application development. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java technologies along with exposure to iOS/mobile integration, APIs, and secure communication between mobile and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support mobile (iOS) applications
• Collaborate with iOS developers to ensure smooth backend-mobile integration
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
• Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement scalable solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• Experience integrating backend services with iOS applications
• Understanding of mobile communication protocols (HTTPS, JSON, OAuth, etc.)
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of Swift / iOS architecture (MVC/MVVM)
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)
