Description: The Judge Groups Direct client in the Financial Services Industry is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer. This is in Manassas, VA/ HYBRID.

Job Title: IT Security Engineer

Job Location: Manassas, VA/ HYBRID

Job Description:

It is a new position for the Regulatory Readiness work (Firewall Recertification Tool).

Firewall and BASTION flow Recertification is required for SOL/DOR compliance.

Skills

Background in design, coding, and operations

Experience with ELK, Kafka, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools

Expertise in API integration and microservices architecture

Familiarity with ELK/Kafka connectivity and supporting production environments

Infrastructure monitoring and observability frameworks

Performance tuning and troubleshooting Kafka ingestion pipelines

Proficiency in Ansible playbooks, Unix/Linux administration, and automation

Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python

Unix, OpenShift Container, RHEL and Network Monitoring
